This is the first year my parents did round bales. Only so many could fit up in the hay mow. It was kinda surreal.
They have chickens. They are actually my baby sisters. This one was just crusin’ around in the lower yard and I was chasin after it trying to get a picture. It really didn’t want its picture taken lol
These bushes are over a hundred years old. So are the lilac trees next to them. They need to be trimmed back and taken care of so the blooms look more beautiful. I believe this is mountain laurel, but don’t quote me.
Down in the lower pasture is where the excess round bales got stored.
This little area has a bush and some other flowers in it, as well as a rock that was there when we moved in 24 years ago.
I love these Chinese Money Trees. This are well past there times. Wouldn’t it be really kool if you could really plant these and they did sprout money???
This tree is also well over a hundred years old and seen its spell of storms, lightening strikes, weather, and blights, and diseases over the century.
And the view inside the hole. There isn’t much to see, but hey, had to take a peak anyways! 🙂
This is the frogman that sits at the base of the tree. It’s really kinda neat!
