Taking The Kayak Out

Hello, everyone!  My goodness!  It has been almost six months since I have posted on here.  I usually have no creative inclination over the winter.  None whatsoever.  I don’t want to take any photos nor do I want to write.  However, Spring is here and we had a few days of Spring weather earlier this week, however, today, you would have never guessed due to the blanket of that covers the ground today this blessed Easter Sunday.

Earlier this week, my fiancee took his new kayak out just for a quick test drive.  He only had it out on the water for about 15 or 20 minutes.  But she floated. Chris was so happy to be able to have been able to take it out.  He had bought it in January and had been working on it here and there since then.  He is going to use it to fish in.  He hopes to go more places to fish that are inaccessible on foot.

We had gone down under the underpass that is a little boat area that is maintained by the DEC.  It is a little fishing area down off the road.  Not really quiet because you have the cars buzzing by overhead but there isn’t usually anyone down there.

All this week, it is suppose to be in the 50F’s but rainy and icky.  But like they say, April showers bring May flowers!

See you next time and y’all have a Happy Easter!Easter Bunny & Lambs Best Easter Wishes
